Meet Malavi
I currently work as a psychotherapist in Bangalore, specializing in behavioural and emotional talk therapy involving individuals, couples and families. I am a graduate of Purdue University, USA with a Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy. In addition, I also have a Master of Science degree in the field of Psychological Counseling from Bangalore University, India.

Therapy is a safe space that supports you take a deeper look within yourself and in your relationships. It’s a place to open up, share vulnerable, fearful memories and past traumas. Through therapy, you will be able to process challenging emotions and stressors and get to a place of healing, thereby building healthier relationships.
Collaborative and Process Oriented
Therapy with me is a collaborative and process oriented. We will talk about patterns and how to change them to healthier ones in a non-judgemental and authentic manner. I use techniques primarily from Emotion Focused Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Attachment Focused Therapy, Transgeneration Therapy and CBT to help you get to a place to emotional regulation and balance.

You don’t need to be struggling to reach out and benefit from therapy. Therapy can also help resolve old wounds and help you nip triggers in the bud. By discussing sensitive topics like conflict resolution, sexual intimacy, finances around relationships - your communication in relationships will improve and prevent it from become pressing concerns.
